We create the pressure within ourselves because we forbid ourselves to feel negative emotions. We think bad feelings make us weak or bad people. Pent-up emotions lead to frustration, discontent, aggression, or miscommunication.
This is why our happiness lies in accepting our capacities and who we really are. If we want to be content, we shouldn’t be embarrased or afraid of what we are.
